Released Quinta essentia 1.0
Thanks to support of my wife I managed to spend 90 hours during this week on making this 7DRL. Much more than I expected, but I got sucked in creating, especially around day 4 when I really started to like the idea of the game.
The main mechanics is, along with combat, brewing potions from procedurally generated herbs you find on the map. Each has up to four properties and you have to use various alchemical instruments to modify these properties in the way you need. I realised this mechanics is kind of Entities-Components / ECS inside a game which has potential for much fun.
As for the game engine and map generator, I mostly reused stuff from an unnamed game I've been making since 15 months. It struck me how complete game I can make out of it when given restrictions defined by 7DRL — and I shamefully didn't even manage to create a playable prototype of this unnamed game for so long time!
I'm looking forward for all kinds of feedback .
